Sit and Wait Awhile

This piece acts as a representation of all of the uncomfortable feelings that come with waiting. The use of flimsy material lends to how easily these feelings are pushed away, while the grasping tendrils and dark silhouette act as a reminder of how they also remain. The overall aesthetic evokes feelings of discomfort and perhaps empathy towards the slumped figure. The curving mass over and around the nearby bench look as if it would envelop any who sat there.
